The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University Belfast and the Irish Secretariat in Belfast, invite you to attend the Lyric Theatre Belfast for a special evening to honour the great Belfast poet Ciaran Carson (1948-2019).
A distinguished panel of speakers, writers, musicians and friends will share their stories of Ciaran, his writing, his music and his love of Belfast.
Hosted by Glenn Patterson, writer and Director of the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University Belfast and featuring readings from the current Ireland Professor of Poetry Frank Ormsby, Sinéad Morrissey, Michael Longley and more.
